This monthly publication which is posted on the Santa Clara County
Probation website and is sent online to every one in the department
and printed for distribution to parents and interested parties who
have youth detained in the facility is created by Catalyst for Youth
Executive Director Joanne Hobbs. Her intention is to educate the
public about "what's working in Juvenile Hall" using the
powerful "Appreciative Inquiry" (AI) method of organizational
change and personal stories of inspiration, success and transformation.
